Live music is chaos and connection — a flash of light, a chord in your chest, a moment that vanishes as quickly as it arrives. My concert photography aims to hold onto that energy, capturing artists and audiences in their shared space of sound and emotion. Before launching this portfolio, I spent years photographing and writing for The Bay Bridged, and I’m a co-founder of Static & Blur, a music website dedicated to documenting the Bay Area’s live music scene. Whether it’s a dimly lit club, a packed festival stage, or a quiet soundcheck, I look for truth in the noise — images that let you feel what it was like to be there.
